This is a new (I think) oil from Shell (£18.99/litre!) and apparently what Honda Dunstable are using now. Norton way at Letchworth still use the Castrol Edge 0W30. So I've now started buying this for top ups.

Any comments? Anyone know what Honda actually recommend?

Thanks!

I always used Silkolene of which I think Oilman now does a 5W30

Manual says 10W-30 and 5W-30 below freezing.

If this is a HTHS (high temperature high shear) or fuel economy oil then stay away in the NSX. ACEA A3/B4/B4 is the way to go. No A5/B5, Diesel or whatever.

Stick with Castrol 10/30 or Mobil One if it's avialable.
These are what the Acura franchises over here in the states use to support the warrenties.
I've used Castrol for decades as they used to sponser me and NEVER had a problem.

It's ACEA C2, C3 (A3/B3/C4) - http://www.shell.co.uk/home/content/gbr/products_services/on_the_road/oils_lubricants/helix/shell_helix_tpkg/product_range_classic/helix_ultra_extra/

The Castrol Honda used to put in was 0W30 or 5W30. Not sure there is a Castrol Edge 10W30 like the handbook recommends. What was recommended for the NA2 cars?
