Left the engine cover open the other night in the garage to allow it to cool down. Only problem is I now have condensation both on the inside of the rear screen and on the divider screen. This takes a while to clear with the demister.
Looked on search function and all I got was condensation in the light bars.
Any ideas ??
If not then I am going to try Rain-X anti mist (the stuff in the black bottle)
How about leaving it open during a hot day?

Why not just let the engine just cool down without opening the lid :?
After power washing my car i get this effect but it clears reasonably quickly with demister. The engine bay is open to elements so it's probably impossible to prevent it. Will be interested to see how you get on with the Rain-X treatment.

Opened the hatch as the car was in the garage and all was smelling a little warm to say the least.
The Rain-X anti fog has worked on everything else, but have heard horror stories about it eating window seals recently, bit apprehensive about using it to be honest.
