UK population of NA1 and NA2?

Hi folks!

I noticed that about 9 in 10 cars listed online are 3.0 litre models. Did numbers really taper off so very dramatically over the years that there are hardly any 3.2 owners/sellers?

Hi, there were more 3.0 sold than 3.2, of the 3.0 most of were sold early to mid 90s when the car were just released & more interest. Overall we think that between 400-450 were sold from 1991 to 2005 in total, with probably just under 400 left & there were not many imports as they are well revered in Japan. In the market place, there are not many for sale as people tend to keep them and normally there are more 3.0 available than 3.2 probably since there of more around & are older. HTH

Looking at the information recently made available regarding MOT tests gives a pretty good reflection of the proportion of NA1 / NA2 cars and from this it looks like ~17% of cars are NA2's.

And of those around 38 were pop up variety. If you add 05 and 55 plate (the last 12) you get about 65 facelift cars. You then factor in that around 10 of the facelifts have left these shores in the past 12 months, this would explain why NA2's of any variant are a rare sight in the classifieds.
