Hi,
We thought that we would post an open invitation to anyone on the forum who wants to join us on the "Pancake run in Wales".
This was started several years ago by a group of MKIV supra enthusiasts who enjoy going for a drive out in their cars. We have been attending these for the past year and a half and can honestly say that the 500 mile round journey is worth it.
The next event is being held on Sunday 22nd March 2010.
The journey sets off at 9.20am from the BP Service Station situated off junction 27, M6 and proceeds to Chester Services for coffee and meet up with others.
The set-off time from Chester is 10.50am approx and from there we head into Wales stopping at:
The Ponderosa cafe near Llangollen for brunch and to take in the views.
From there we head around the horseshoe pass view and continue onwards around Bala on some "interesting roads".
A swift drink break at the Swallow Falls near Bets-Y-Coed (soft drinks for drivers!).
Then finish off at the Dutch Pancake House near Conway (about 5pm) for delicious pancakes (got to be tried to be believed).
If anyone is interested in joining in the party please let us know so that we do not leave without you. Meeting up at either the BP Service Station or Chester Services.
Regards, Ian and Sharon
