Hi all
Looking to buy a crash helmet for track day use and don't really know what i'm looking for so I thought I'd ask some of you track day veterans?
Went to a motorbike shop but the guy although very helpful said that the regulations for trackdays are different and that he'd sold a few helmets to people who then found that they were not allowed to use them when they got to the track! Also that the regulations are in the process of changing.
Does a bike helmet become very hot to wear in a car as you do not have the same flow of air through the helmet?
Is an open face helmet really the best option, as I would also like to get something that I could use if I was riding pillion without looking like my grandad on his stepthrough!!
Am looking to book for Donnington on the 14th if anybody knows their policies as I can't find any info on their website?
Thankyou in advance
Olly
