Posted this in Tech - but maybe more for Geneeral. New Owner Question: My 91 auto reads around "2" on idlle and goes to "4" at about 2000 rpm. Is that normal? Dont ask me what it's reading at 100 mph as i was too busy making sure I kept my licence:D

The oil pressure reading can vary. Mine sits something similar to yours, but on a few NSX's I worked on, the pressure readings varied between them. Some people in the US have said that using different oils can change the readings.

So you know what happens to the oil pressure gauge when the engine engages VTEC at 5,800 revs then :) If you do get a chance to look at the gauge then, don't be concerned.
Cheers
