View Full Version : Quarter panel protection

With my timing belt service looming I'm a bit worried about my rear quarter panels getting scratched with my technician having to lean over them to gain access to the engine bay.

We have some Sealey bodywork protectors in stock, which may do the job but does anyone know of a better solution?

If you are taking it to a Honda garage with NSX technicians I would hope they had one.


I have a very cheap wing protector like the Sealey ones but the magnets don't hold them in place very well on the NSX bodywork. :)

That Dali one would be just the ticket!

Quite pricey mind you but to be expected I suppose.

Yeah the Sealey magnets aren't much use on the NSX!

Maybe somebody can look up the PN for it. I've found that for some reason the Honda tools I've priced at the moment are cheaper to buy in the UK than USA. Plus I wouldn't buy from Dali again (there's better, cheaper and reliable dealers to buy spares from), shame I could not find another link to it!

Wouldn't use that personally, you want a nice soft lining.

Neoprean is quite soft, just like a wetsuit, if its good enough for against your skin, it should be just fine against a car. Its also used in casings for mobile phones, laptops and other applications.
