View Full Version : Replacement brake disk recommendations?
WhyOne?

I am shortly off to the US and wondering what to buy?!
I thing a new set of brake disks would be a sensible investment - does anyone have any particular recommendations (is a budget of up to $600 reasonable?)
They don't need to cope with track use, just spirited road use. So something at least as good as OEM, a little more resistant to corrosion would be nice (particularly in the non-contact regions) and aesthetically I like the appearance of slotted disks!
:)
Edit....Y1 is an NA2 car.
OEM Discs and Project Mu B spec pads.

Racing Brake direct from the US.
Go for the 2 piece and you'll really notice the weight difference.

Couple of pics.
Grooved only, ideal for the really fast guys or track use

Drilled only, look great and perform really well, however if using for regular track or race use they may suffer heat cracking around holes.

Combo of drilled and grooved. This is an old test disc we were testing to destruction, we failed to kill it completely on a race accord and ds3000 pads, but did make it turn lovely colours :D
