Well sent the car into main dealers in Halesowen today to have my stock exhaust replaced with the Larini I bought off Larkspurr.
Picked up car 6hrs later.....stock exhaust still fitted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!they said that manifold flange was badly corroded and they didnt have the right size bolts to replace........so they did nothing, grrr.
Is this normal?or are they lazy or just useless t.....s??

Sounds like a typical main dealer. Iam a bit suprised they even let you book the job in. Usually anything out the ordinary (ie OEM) they will not venture into. I got a good local exhaust specialist to fit my NSX headers when they needed replacing. They welcomed the job and I got a really great fit done. Are there no local club members on here who can help you out as I know some do DIY - certainly exhausts anyway. Good luck with it.
Malc any exhaust shop can normally do it for £ 50.00. Exhaust are simple but on cars that have never had the OEM removed they can be a pain. in your case it will probably be a case of heathing the cats bolts until red hot, hammering in a six side socket and letting the air tools do the job. I have done it a few times on different cars and since I am dont have an acetylene torch, I just remove the usually corroded cat heat shields and then is a lot more room to work. Othere than that a dremmel with kevlar reinforced wheels is a big help.
Good luck with the task ahed. :)

Malc,
Knowing where you had it done they are useless. Just look at the receipt of work Steve had done there and you can see how much work they made for themselves that time round. I had a very bad buying experience there so nothing surpirses me. As Ary says take it to a local exhaust shop and tell them you just want it done! I used a Hi Q of all places in Redditch who have always looked after me for exhaust on mine - if you are every over that way let Brad on 01527 64009 know Matt with the red NSX gave you his details. He'll get it sorted and won't be too pricey.
He could fit the mesh engine cover I have that Luke mentioned you might like too at the same time :D. PM if you want to speak abotu this I'm local to you, working in Kiddy and living in Redditch, so if I can help just shout!
Cheers,
Matt.
