Dashboard lighting

Now that I am out and about in the NSX in what passes for a British summer I have noticed an annoying little feature in bright sunlight - a rare event I know.

It is impossible to read the red lighting on the centre consol displays - they may as well be completely blank. The A/C controls, radio and clock displays are useless. Is this just something that you have to live with short of replacing the entire centre console?

Pretty much thats just how it is lol. There are other colors that can be upgraded too with a bit of work, but dont think they would help either as I think its just purely down to the flowing console and the way those controls sit.

It's very worrying not to know the HVAC is still on Auto & set to 19!

In the S2000, no roof & a similar orange tacho band can make overtaking by ear with the sun behind you a tad more concerning...
