How much is it?

No price listed Noel, POA. To hazard a guess, I'd say over £100k

Lose the silly Navipod and it'd look even better.

For a comparison, below is a pic of a Recaro Pole Position and an NSX S/R seat. The PP has the NSX seat's swab and backpad in it and vice-versa. The PP is new and the NSX seat a little secondhand.

Cheers

Looks very nice, but I thought they would have special alloy wheels like the pop up lights version?

Hi TheSebringOne,

From studying Sudesh's photos and the Japanese car sales sites, I have concluded that all 02+ (Facelift) Type S have the same wheels as other Facelift cars.

The special BBS type wheels are found on the Type S and Type S-Zero cars with model codes E-NA2 (Feb 97-Sep 99), GH-NA2 (Sep 99-Dec 01).

I'm not sure about the Type S with model code LA-NA2 from Dec 01-May 02 (pre-facelift) as I haven't seen an example of this car.

The first iteration of the Facelifted Type S (May 02-Oct 03), [didn't the wheel design change minutely around this time, with thinner spokes?] and the next version (Oct 03-Mar04), are also called LA-NA2 (confusingly) - I haven't seen any pictures of these cars.

The later ABA-NA2 (Mar 04-Dec 05) have the same wheel design as the standard NSX and Type T of the period (as pictured in the first post of this thread).

Do I sound like I know what I'm on about? Perhaps I have too much internet time on my hands looking for an NSX..........

This car is still for sale - priced at 12590000JPY, which translates to 95,863GBP - before shipping, VAT etc. etc. - bargain!!

As it is physically in Hiroshima Prefecture, it should be largely unaffected by the earthquake & tsunami - many NSX further east in Japan may have been damaged or even destroyed.
