would not be the biggest fan of the colour tbh

Theres those wheels again mate! ;)

the dashboard is certainly an interesting mod, albeit the centre console is a bit too 'rally-ish' looking spoiling the look of the dash

the blue inserts into the seat, dont look leather?
also seem to be a bit ripplely in effect too, which to me looks like poor stitching

could be wrong

mixed bag this one for sure.

Agreed. Mods shout 'competition use' to me, while the paintwork doesn't really suit the shape.

That shade of blue used to be used on some 90's Porsche's. The seats are just Alcantara centres but somebody's been sitting in them and creased them...

I really love that picture - great tones... and the old MX5 is a sweet shape.

So
a) its a Type S and there's only one of those in the UK
b) those seats are £14k a pair with runners

Type S had unique trim option that also linked some seat centres to the exterior color. Mark's for example is IOP exterior with orange alcantara.

Those are not the wheels that were on the car you looked at ages ago! They are the original standard NSX-S wheels.

I've seen the stack system in other NSX's and think Ary had this in the NSX-R?

NSX-S didnt get leather centre inserts, infact NO NSX with OEM Recaro's had leather inserts that I know off.

As for the crease in the seats, I guess thats just down to the guy sitting it lol

Thanks, Justin! It's enhanced by being an old photo put through a scanner, rather than any real skill on my part...

Despite a dangerous lack of torque low-down (it could bog if you let it down around 2,000 and gave too much gas) it was a really sweet little car to drive. And reliable.

One really appreciates the benefits of VTEC on a 16-valve engine!

Where can you get an 02+ car for that sort of money?

No. £16k for a pair.

Simon I think SS is right going buy Sudesh's post on the previous page. Absolutely ludicrous price......

From memory you would be touching £37k with rails and electrics. Dont have the exact sheet in front of me.

£16k a seat?!? Consider my gast well and truly flabbered - that is unbelievable. If you said that to me I'd assume you were talking about a Veyron or a Zonda, not an NSX...

(Not that they don't look nice, but still...)

Please remember this is "RIP OFF" UK prices.

They are cheaper if buying from another source but again not that cheap.

Some places advertise the seats as a pair for around £14k, thats just the seat no rails etc, then add shipping and import duty this end.

Ah yes, I was thinking US or JPN prices, would never consider buying from the UK!

For me a Type S/S Zero has to be either this Powder blue (not sure what the proper title is) or IOP as the interior only comes with Blue or Orange seat/door trim inserts.

Obviously I prefer IOP but I also quite like this Blue. I think "Washi" (Grey) coloured wheels might suit it better and the front spoiler needs to be unpainted back to black.

A while ago Sudesh posted pics of a yellow Type S with the orange seats, IMHO it just looked wrong.

Ohh, the seats are worth every penny :)

Cheers

Nope you are blessed with a racing driver's physique! :)

But sadly not the talent :(

I recently met Anthony Davidson, in the immigration queue at Atlanta airport in the week before Petit Le Mans, and if he's a racing driver physique I'm not. Really nice chap though, very normal and happy to talk with a nosy punter like me :)

He stuck his Peugeot 908 on pole that weekend and went on to finished 2nd in a 1-2 finish for the team

Cheers

Not a fan of the colour, but it could be down to the chin spoiler being colour coded...
