Very impressive Sudesh.
What is your floor covering - a type of paint of some sort of vinyl?
Is the door insulated?
Jealous.

Thanks guys!
Nick the floor is painted with an industrial floor paint, its very good stuff, I was thinking of tiling or putting down some other garage type floors, but this will do for now plus its cheap and easy looked after.
Are you referring to the main roller door?

Very nice Sudesh, I guess the NSX has a nice cosy home with GCH too! Good amount of space to work with. Whats the silver model car?
I guess the Calibre gone to the sky now.

Rad garage! So good for polishing now.
The Left hand radiator valve needs striaghtening vertical BTW. Whoever has tightened it didnt hold it good enough or at all when they tightened the tail nut into the radoator. Thus span backwards a bit... :)

Thanks!
The silver car is actually a radio, its a porsche of some kind. Still have the Calibra, its in one of the other garages which I'm starting to revamp one at a time now and putting in a lift in one of them too.

Cheers!!
Yeah the valve is well bent, was bent many years ago before I even had this my current NSX, not sure how it was done but your probably right, lucky the radiator works fine and no leaks.

Are you referring to the main roller door?
Yes - the external door. Unless it is insulated lots of the heat from the radiator will be escaping. I would have expected underfloor heating - no less !!:D
Sudesh why oh why you have to post this pictures man...:) Gre:)at job your cluttered garage looks better than minbe ATM. I must get my act together as at the moment it looks like something out Hostel!!!
Where are the cabinets from, they look cool.

Many thanks Ary!
To be honest I done this quite cheaply, I already had the floor paint and just repainted the wall again. The total for the units delivered was £347.00 I think
Only tool needed is a star screw driver to put the guides on the 4 drawer units, all the rest just snaps together.
The units I bought from Homebase ONLINE, as they didnt sell these particular ones instore, they delivered to the house in 2 days.
The the red tool boxes I already had and only thing I might do is buy 3 more top boxes.

That looks superb Sudesh.
Makes me want to give my garage a re-vamp!
Have you thought any more about a small lift?
Did you get sorted yet with top boxes?
If not and you've seen any Draper or Sealey ones, give me the part numbers and I will get you prices as our sales reps are all now back from holiday.

No havent bought any new top boxes yet, was waiting for you to get me some prices lol
I'm going to be putting a 4ton lift into one of the other garages. I'm just partially through the revamp on them at the moment, but needs some more work.

Oh right - sorry!
I just read that message again. We don't have any boxes in stock that match those dimensions but I'm sure we could get something.
26" wide x 12" deep?
Are you planning on stacking these on top of each other?

Was planing on lining them up across the top of the cabinets where the one I have is already and maybe one back on top of the other cabinet on wheels.

All has been fine so far with the revamp, apart from the floor.:(
I have tried numerous paints and sealant but nothing has proven that good and dependant on use, the paint has started to lift.
As my garage gets quite a bit of use for various thing [not all NSX lol], I decided to look around for something better. Tiles is the ultimate option and there are some unique flooring for garages that would work, but can be costly.
Today though I had a conversation with my bro; one of our companies that he looks after, works with carpets, rugs and basically flooring of all kinds. He can offer a special garage floor rubber, that can I can purchase on a roll or by size.
It comes in the "diamond" finish and "round nobbly" finish and is designed for garage use. So I think I'm going to go with this option. What you guys think?
No pics of my own but similar to this:

If you've got the money then go for it - it looks very smart and professional.

I was looking at some of this stuff for mine a while ago, looks quite good, would make a big difference in temperature too I would think. The only thing that is putting me off is that I was going to buy a mid rise scissor lift and I think it would get chewed up operating it or moving it around.

Looks smart, but personally I dislike vinyl and rubber floorings because they can end up tatty and punctured/compressed unless you go for the really big money. Worse, I can never find dropped screws because I can't hear where they've fallen
Checkerplate aluminium would be hard to beat if you can't find a good sealant, but I'm really surprised to hear you can't; the quality of paint out there is phenomenal an I'm really happy with the paints I've put down. The main thing is to make sure your concrete is sound, clean and scrubbed before application.

Yeah looks the business I think, and hopefully would be getting for reasonable money.

Simon I had a look at that interlock setup, I quite like that too, seen it at the Classic show in the NEC last month. Waiting for a price back and will compare it to the stuff my brother can get.

think it looks well smart bud and would be cool in your 'good' garage.
would defo go for it if you are still for kitting out the other garage with the lift etc. i too would be concerned with what wear and tear this stuff would take when jacking cars up etc.
looks well smart, have seen this stuff before but also saw the bad side of it too i.e. lifting, torn etc in some of the workshops (not all garages) i have visited over the years

Yeah thats the plan! The other garage has the height for the big lift.

Ive had the same problems, several paints have all lifted and specialized garage floor coverings are expensive.
The guy in limavady near the bus atation is an agent for those click flooring type and they 'E' expensive

The latest generation of paints are sealant/paint hybrids... I'm normally sceptical of this sort of thing, but gotta say they work great. Longest lasting surface you could ask for, and you can do what you like with it - chemicals, power hosing, the works. Cheap n easy n perfect :)

Yeah not really convinced by the whole paint thing either, been there done that for a many many years and none have last, guess it depends on how much use the garage gets too. What guy near the bus station Andy?
We used to use a two pack system for ships and it was good enough to hammer on, probably too high a VOC to be in use today.

Good shout Ary! That stuff would be long lasting alright, wonder how it would fair with the odd spill of fluids.

Sudesh the one we used to used once hardened it was like steel mate but I can't remember the number. You could spill thinner and it would not dissolve.

Hi Sudesh, did you get your floor done in the end?
I'm looking to do mine soon and was thinking of the G-Floor stuff, not having much luck finding UK suppliers though - apart from Costco who only sell the 7.5' wide rolls....

I didnt even try the stuff Simon; just way too much work on so the garage is still pretty much the same as the first revamp pics. My NSX has only seen around 600miles since I mot'd it this year lol Was really a wast of time even putting it through as we are now rolling into the winter months which means it wont be driven now till next April/May.
