Looking fantastic! Hardest thread of the year to look at for me...

Nice.

I'd be sorting the exhaust tips out for something a little more modern, but otherwise she's a beauty!

They're contemporaneous, and I'm not really that fussed TBH. Actually, I'd never given it a thought.

I find the current trend for overstyled exhausts has worn a bit thin. I liked the Civic's daft Toblerone ones at first. Trouble is, I remember the old F-type Victor, where they used to poke through the overriders and it really annoyed me at the time.

Trip to Halfords is so not coming on.

The real beauty and attraction of this NSX has always been its almost completely stock appearance ... a couple of subtle mods like discs and indicators, but otherwise its visually left as intended by Honda.

Its a unique NSX thats had a good home and now has another one. Look after and enjoy.

My thoughts exactly (well, except for the fact I have given it a thought!!!!) and decided that my car should remain looking pretty much as it came out of the factory.

The car looks lovely Nick :)

You might like the look of the exhaust tips but the bit behind them (the exhaust not the car) is an overly heavy, restrictive piece of mild steel junk that should offend you ;)

:D

The mild steel bit 'tis true! Un/fortunately Honda designs really superb exhaust pipes.

Problem is, I usually don't like the sound of rice pipes. I recently had that quandary with the Prelude and after a long wait, got another OEM. That's depite my recnt trip (in the NSX) to Mugen UK. A Mugen gun for the 'Lude is also about £1300, which was offputting. Although they are lovely to look at.

Actually, I did run it with a Graves Engineering tuna exhaust for a few weeks...

That sounds a little fishy...

I did wash it first. And the tuna tin.

They made an exception with the NSX then :)

Look at this Prime thread for a glimpse of the nastiness that lurks within... http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68558&highlight=exhaust+cutaway

It's very ordinary for the cost of the car.

But as with the 'Lude Red Top and the S2000, aftermarket tuners have a great deal of difficulty finding more useable power.

The biggest offence with the early NSXs, the black top 'Ludes and the Civic VTi was the use of a nasty cast-iron plenum and the substitution of a proper four-branch manifold makes a world of difference.
