Hi,
I have been looking through various nsx forums and sites for a while now and am happy to have found an active UK forum!!..
My NSX (in brief).. I have a 1995 NSX-T Manual that has been lightly damaged on the front and is hence recorded (not a problem for me as it's our business) however i assumed that the nsx purists out there would possibly shun that fact so i decided to make it a bit of a (hopefully relatively classy) project car!!
This will be a w/e, possibly occasional track day car - my brother and friends like to go to nurburg a couple of times a year.. so it can be a touch more eccentric i suppose.. as i say, the guys doing the work on it are taking and expanding my ideas... looking good so far!
However, I have a 98 NSX (breaker) which i am keeping for spares with a 3.2 (Auto) that seems ok.. I was wondering if anyone had done the swap and if it was worth it.. i did see a company directors car for sale on Piston Heads that had it done once! (i'm wanting to keep it manual)
One more Q.. I emailed ScienceOf Speed with an order list and requested the total inc P&P as you cant seem to select a rate for the UK... but they have not replied.. are they usually reliable?
Many thanks in advance, have been looking through the forum and will continue to do so.. lots of great info and ideas. apologies for possible newbee questions!!

hmmm.. will go get the reg and hpi it again.. im sure it was 3.2 when i checked it but was quite a whie a go!!..
Just checked my car and i bought it in oct 08!!.. just getting round to having it done, after sourcing the right guy to do it and the parts..!!
appreciate the replys though.. although im quite up on cars, i am definately a nsx beginner!!
p.s. does anyone know my car btw - is on N8NSX and was yellow..?
For what is going to cost sell the breaker and get a Supercharger IMHO.

hehe.. yeah, i have been looking into it.. i think the engine side of things will probably be the next stage of mods.. (i have only bought an exhaust on that side of things so far). Although speed is not necessarily my biggest concern now i'm getting older and try to keep racing to the track! I thought, while it was in pieces i might aswell get it done.
I am trying to retain the look of the nsx as i (as most people probably here) am a big senna fan and always wanted to drive what was supposed to be the best handling sportscar!.. I have had a lot of sports cars (m3's, rs4.. etc..) and still feel the most passionate about an nsx.. even though i still haven't driven one!!
I just hope it's going to be up to expectations now!!

HPI is not always accurate, it could be a simple misprint on the V5 hence HPI and DVLA may have it down as a 3.2. But as Ary said, doubtful if its a 3.2 with Auto box/F-Matic

Yeah quite a few have bought from SOS, only thing I found with them was the postage cost's were high compared to Dali.

thanks sudesh... not found dali yet, will google tomorrow!..
I should know better re. hpi, we do about 300 a week here and you are right, especially for the more exotic or rare vehicles it is not a good point of reference!

Science of Speed are very reliable if a little slow replying to emails occasionally. I personally would steer clear of Dali a lot of people have been ripped off by him including myself.

I think thats hit or miss for some owners. I've been buying off Dali for the past 3/4 years and not once had a problem, and same for some of the other local members to me. But like all vendors, there is good and bad stories I guess.

We collected it from Elsmere Port... back in June 07!!
This was the damage, hit low front and took the rad.. bumper, x-member, both wings.. but was generally in good condition..
