The first 12 cars also have 23 people, so we might have to say that Sorepaws onwards will only get 1 entry ticket.
I'll see if we can get any more tickets from the organisers - if anyone in the list above knows they don't want to go anymore, please amend your listing.

See you all there.

Does this mean if we don't get one of the reserved tickets we can't put our car alongside the others and we have to slum it in some car park miles away?
Dragonlady
12-04-2011, 06:21 PM
They are normally quite good and let all the good cars in, they did two years ago and we wern't even on the list.
Yes, I'm sure we'll be OK for the cars to be displayed - I suspect they want to limit the numbers of cars to 12 per club, so they don't get over-run by hundreds of MX5s, MGFs etc, since they do let in quite a lot of not-exactly-supercars...

Those after Sorepaws, I'm afraid you're on for a car pass only and would need to buy your own ticket - £11 in advance on http://www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk/store/event-tickets-2011/supercar-sunday.html or £13 on the day (if you're not sure you really want to come along :))
Now, if we do a group buy of 12 or more tickets, they work out at £8 each - so even though there are only 10 tickets in the last batch, if I can get commitment from all of you that you definitely want to go, then it will be slightly cheaper to buy 12 tickets for the lower price...
Let me know for sure by PM, everyone after Sharon & Ian, if you're up for doing that - ie if you can all commit to going and buying 2x tickets at £9.60 each, then I'll arrange the group booking. Otherwise, buy on the day or get in advance... :)
cheers
Ewan
(ie - 12 tickets at £8 = £96, but we only need 10 so they'd work out at £9.60 each)

Hi Ewan,
Looks like my NSX has sold so i'd like to step aside from the list unless i can put a GTR on the stand  If any costs have been incured i'll happily pay my corner.
Dave.
Hi Ewan,
I am up for buying two tickets at £9.60 each. How would you like me to pay? paypal? or when I see you on the day....I dont mind.
Thanks for organising.

Hi Guy's
looks like we are going to have another good one.
Are we organising meeting at one of the service areas and making a grand entrance in convoy style.
Would love this as I missed out on Japfest convoys having to be at Japfest before the rest of you.:)
Cheers Chris
Can we still join in on the day if we are not on the list?
Thanks

CONVOY
I think, as before, we should aim to meet at the M40 J10 Cherwell Valley Services @8:30am for 8:45am depart, with the intent of rocking up at Gaydon around 9:15-9:30.
If the weather is nice, I'd suggest heading up the B4100 from J11 - here (http://www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?v=2.00&cp=52.07777451111962~-1.328798149093764&lvl=13&sty=r&rtp=pos.51.949683892200646_-1.2003646319323957_near%20Street%2C%20Ardley%20OX2 7%207___a_~v.52.082614033526795_-1.3705550528564392_B4100%20%2F%20Warwick%20Road~po s.52.189088088527036_-1.4755471891021598_near%20Street%2C%20Gaydon%20CV3 5%200___a_&mode=D&rtop=0~0~0~&form=LMLTSN&encType=1) - since it's reckoned to be a good road... (#8 in the top 10 driving roads in the UK, apparently).
Anyone who wants to gatecrash (ie doesn't have a car pass from the list above), it would be worth being part of the convoy then we could try to blag all the tickets at once.
cheers
Ewan

I don't think it's going to work out to get block tickets, folks - I'd advise that you either
a) Go ahead and book online to have them delivered to your own address
b) Buy at the gate (you never know, if the weather's filthy you might decide not to go :))
c) Try to blag them using sorepaws' recommendation, by registering as an individual exhibitor (http://www.supercarsunday.co.uk/display-your-supercar.html)
cheers!

I'm not quite sure how the pass thing will work but my mate can't make it tomorrow (just found out now) so I will have a spare ticket for a "passenger" I know we have to collect them on entry. If you are at Cherwell services I may be able to sort something out? I have a Midnight Purple NSX, starts P5,,,

End of the day I was last man standing, my car and a fold up garden chair. I assumed the chair was from one of our number so saved it, please PM me to start the reuniting process.
