Help... :D

My insurance is almost due.

Does the club have a discount or any approved insurers?

My car is UK and is modified to a degree so they also need to cover mods, i am currently with Adrian Fluxx, Mods are no problem with them however...

I would really like to go with a company that covers you on track also, maybe i have to pay a little extra before i go on track maybe not but i would like that option.

I know there are companies out there but not sure who they are.

You could try these guys, they insured me on my last track day.
When I killed the car they paid out quickly and were accommodating in regard to the repairer I wanted to use before it was decided to write the car off.

This subject pops up regularly and as you can imagine, the market always changes.

The most recent thread below may have good info for you.

Not sure about your requirement but when I spoke with some of the members, they seemed to be happy with the Competition Car Insurance.

I don't know whether there is any NSXCB approved/discount policy or not but may worth asking and please let us know.

Thanks for your help.

I tried some as suggested, some i was too young for :(

But... i found sky insurance to be the cheapest which is nothing to do with sky television but they specialise in japanese cars. Also as mentioned Competition car insurance which were £150 more but included track insurance for up to 5 events which is worth over £150.

I'm now insured again.... :D

I went with Competition car insurance.

I get 5 days track cover :D Includes Europe but does not include Nuremburg. I have to let them know few days prior to heading on track. Nurmeburg is on the cards but will need to find additional cover for that weekend.

It does pay to shop around as it's cheaper than my renewal only slightly by Adrian Flux but with the added bonus of 5 track days cover. I did manage to find it cheaper with another insurer so i called up Compteition car insurance and informed them they knocked an little off and although it was still dearer than the cheaper one i had found the amount they knocked off made it enough for me to pay little more for the extra bonus of track cover :D

Wahoo...

You won't get cover anywhere for the Nurburgring AFAIK.

I went with them today. It was actually the cheapest quote I had with the five track days which ironically I won't be using.
Can't be killing another one!
Just out of interest, is there a track at Nuremburg? I thought they only did rallies there;-)

James.
