Not often these come up forsale!

2005 car with only 3,000km!!

Like the color, not a fan of the ivory interior.

Could this be the dream car Papa is looking for?? Swap out the OEM seats for Recaros trimmed to match and de-chrome the rims, job done ...

I thought only the Americans had Chrome finished wheels.

Wow, what a colour! Interesting leather colour, never seen that before in the UK and must be
higher maintenance.

May be its only a Japanese option?

I love that colour. Not loving the chrome wheels, although I guess chrome's better than white;-))

Cheers,

James.

Japfest 3 yrs ago, Ivan (then of Chiswick Honda fame) brought along a customer car that he had on SoR. Desperately needed detailing but otherwise a great car ... except that its Pink!

WAs a black roof an option on the facelift cars that weren't R?

Not sure about the UK market but for JDM, the Black roof was the Standard for the Coupe models even on the facelifted ones.

One had to go through the ‘Custom Order Plan’ to get the roof painted in the body colour.

On the other hand, the body colour painted roof was the Standard for the NSX-T.

Probably the same or similar in UK but I thought I read somewhere on here that the roof was already painted on facelifted final year models???
Correct me, if I'm wrong…

Yeah Kaz, as far as I'm aware the body colored roof was standard in the UK on facelift cars, even the UK brochures show the car with body color and dont show a black option.

I'm not usually a fan of limpid green or hearing-aid beige or chrome wheels, but I think somehow that combination works.

Would need to see it in the metal to decide...

IIRC as of 98 or 99 model year all cars came fully colour coded.

Are you sure? I've seen a few later pre-facelift coupes in the UK that have the black roof.

SS, that Lipstick Pink Facelift is owned by an older fellow who could pass himself off as Santa every December!!!

He previously had a Black on Red NA1 auto and the reg (which he transferred to the facelift) is H10NHP but as I am sure you noticed, he has spaced the lettering to read H1 0N HP.

Hi, Sudesh and Paul.
Thank you for the information.

Interesting marketing strategy for each countries.

Even after more than 20 years, I still learn something new almost every day on this car…

Regards,
Kaz

Like mine.

If you polish hard enough(!) it's red under the black. Which means I've had to touch in the edges if the A-pillar trims.

This may have been done by the owner (Lankstar & Ollie have had their 02+ cars changed to a black roof) or by the dealership that sold them, I know my 2000 MY Circuit Blue was all one colour, but P27 and P26 (97MY cars) both have a black roof as standard, this is why I think it happened in 98 or 99.

Matt (TQO) and now Nick's car was Black roof as OEM and that's on an X plate which is 2000.

The Lime Green Metallic looks amazing....... if only it was a type s / s zero.

Not too keen on the chrome effect wheels, but that interior is stunning.
