did the NSX ever come in gold??
I spotted an ad for one for sale in autocar and it said it was gold :?
I have never seen or heard of a gold one.

The Gold one advertised I think is Imola Orange !!

I looked at one once in a showroom and I would have sworn it was Lager Pearl! They look different in natural light.

I would say New IOP is much more Tango than Lager!

I think some people don't use Orange in their description because they feel it will put off prospective buyers at the first hurdle. They know full well it is Orange and a fantastic colour that if they can entice someone to see it, the chances are they will love the colour.

IOP must be one of the best colours ever made, particularly on an S2000!

The early NSX's came in Imola Orange pearl and the later ones came in New Imola Orange pearl the same as the S2000. When the transition was I don't know.

Mine is a 97 and as far as I know it is Imola Orange pearl and not the 'New'.

IIRC, it was with the 'bug eye' facelift.

Many of the colours were shared, since they went through the same paint shop.
