only 1 pic, and looks OK

2 owners FHSH is about all the info ... no mention of mileage

Thanks for the spot guys - I've put in a request for info and will let you know. It doesn't say whether it's a targa or not, but who am I kidding re the likelihood of finding a facelift targa!

I think it had 68K miles and it is sold.

So it seems that even the 02 plus is not mileage proof.

Not surprised it's sold at that price! Assuming it's straight, that is.

Seems right for the miles.

68k is nothing to this car; as we all know. Hope the new owner makes themselves known to the forum.

Hope the car is straight too

I hear from just speaking to the dealership that you bought it within half an hour of the ad being posted!

Congratulations on the purchase. I hear from others that condensation in the tail lights is common, but not sure about the headlights.

Wellcome. :)

I would checke to make sure that all the bulb caps are on tight and the rubber seals are there.

Dealers can go a bit mad with the old jetwash nozzle.

If the caps are on tight etc, check for signs of a repairs, a small bump that open the light etc.

Never had that problem but my lights were NA2-R.

Good luck and report back how you getting on.

Pretty much what Ary said; also would like to ask if the car has xenon/HID install? If so check for the quality of fitment. Allot/Most kits require the rear of the caps to be drilled out check all is ok there.

Glad to hear that maybe some Honda / shin etsu grease for the cap seals might help keep the water out.

Congratulations! Looks fab.

I too much prefer the NSX's 'alive' feeling to the 996/7's slightly anodyne experience. Unless you're driving them at 9/10 or more, at which point they come together but one is travelling a bit quick on the pubic highway...

Hi to all,

on my 2002 nsx the passenger side window is very slow on way up, half way up is fine, the last half is straggling, but all the way down is perfect? is there a quick fix to this problem?

It's probably the window regulators (common problem) although the runners etc might need cleaning and re-greasing (would probably help but never make it speedy).

Aftermarket replacement but a lot faster than oem - see the following threads:
http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=135277
http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=136481

No real quick fix really unless you can take apart door card / components easily.

I would advise you get it sorted before it packs up completely.Mine did exactly the same and failed completely shortly afterwards.
I sent mine to a guy on Prime called Hugabuga and he repaired mine. Not that expensive either compared to a new regulator.
If you need to know more, pm me.

Hi Guy

How to remove the center console on 2002 nsx? As I want to get it respray.

Lift out base of centre console storage unit to remove and release ~4 screws
Remove ash tray and screws deep inside
Remove gear knob
Undo screws to rear of console
Undo fixings to vent/clock surround and remove
COnsole should now lift enought for you to disconnect lights etc

This is from memory but I think covers removal.

Once out you'll need to remove the cigar lighter, cabin sensor and closck befor eyou can spray units.

Hope this helps

I'd also take the knobs off the stereo and tape up all the buttons first. That way when you're struggling to remove the various connectors from the back of the consol, you won't be using it to saw the corners off the buttons.

Cheers,

James.

Member Sudesh has done some carbon wrwap of interior trim .... have a look in his NSX Refresh thread.

I'm thinking of the same idea for console and door switch panels ... be intereted to see how you get on with the console.
