What do you think?

I know it is trying to imitate the F-Scud look....is that a bad thing though?
It does make the rear look more muscular...no?

Muscular... well, maybe. I gotta say, my first thoughts are that it somehow manages to make a low car look high & fat. Fail

I think it makes the car look far too aggressive & the rear smooth lines are gone.

Don't you like the smiley face anymore?

Kare it does look nice, but it looks a bit Ferrarish for me.

Looks OK, but there are other way to do a diffuser without directly copying the 430, as with the Ferrari it does make the car look a little tall.

Agree with the above - too 'aggressive', too tall, too Ferrari.

A diffuser would work*...but the grey area should be all diffuser and half the height.

* If someone bothered with the undertray too - otherwise it's just affectation.

Yeah - more like the S2000 design study in fact.

Or the HSC & stop being a Ferrari wa(ta)nabe...

I'd be tempted.
Well if I had a rear end shunt.

Wonder how many Ferrari owners would want an NSX rear end i wonder? lol...

For me, Dirk's red NSX-R replica with the concept diffuser is pretty much perfect for a road car.

I think it look great. So whats the big deal if it looks similar to a Ferrari. The Jag XF has a very similar rear end to the Astons, and thats not a problem. The 458 Italia is not a million miles away from the HSC,but you dont hear Ferrari fans complaining about it.Just because Honda did it,it doesn't mean it can't be improved upon.
I'm not having a pop at the original NSX design here but the rear of the pre 02 cars is by far the worst angle of he NSX.
All just my opinion though of course :)

I dont mind it, think it makes the back of our cars look meaner ... certainly one of the better 'modern updates' i have seen

again IMHO ... :)

These rear bumpers from GT-ROM are similar in design to the RGT rear without adding any lenght to the car. Still looks OEMish and Honda.

BTW dave recognise the rear wing. :-)

There is similar, then there is photo shopping a Scuderia diffuser onto an NSX.. :)

They were designed by the same bloke (within a year or so of each other).

All these Ferrari wanabe NSX's look a bit desperate to me.

I don't think it matters that they were designed by the same guy.The are two seperate marques and the top brass were obviously happy enough that they signed off the design.

Couldn't have put it better... There are lots of changes that can be made to the NSX, but if it starts looking like a different marque, or trying to be more "modern", I usually just end up feeling quite sorry for the owner - they obviously want something else and think that a bit of cosmetic surgery is the way to get there.

But driving Michael Jackson's face is not cool

You could say the same about the NSX owners who festoon their cars with trinkets to try to make it look like an NSX-R :D
