I spent the day bouncing between the NSX stand, and the Cube stand, but here's my pics....
get there nice and early… a slight technical ****-up saw me arrive at 7.30… still it was nice weather

(disappointingly the cube stand was to be just beside the pylon on the left !)
it looks like the best colour is here first….
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn41/thisYup/Japfest%2014-5-2011/japfest14052011550.jpg
soon joined by another (black but close enough!) proving that dark colours, which although open to debate may not be the fastest colour, certainly are the coolest…

an arty shot or 2 while it was quiet…

http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn41/thisYup/Japfest%2014-5-2011/japfest14052011561.jpg

I was just waiting for the perfect moment for a rear ¾ shot of the three musketeers, got it framed perfectly, just waiting for the sweet-spot moment when no-one was in shot ( annoyingly people kept stopping to take pictures… how inconvenient!!)…. Just there, ready to go, last person walking out of the frame….. then all the Largo vans descended en-mass…. Bum !!!

Soon the rest arrived… well apparently not quite as big a group as hoped, but that’s for someone else to explain!!! After the usual meet and greet, and the rest of the big groups arrival, the annual Japfest/NSXCB entertainment began… organising the Display! Plans formulated, drivers located/grabbed before they succumbed to the allure of the bacon butty wagon, the cars were arranged…
Cars in position… perfectly aligned
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn41/thisYup/Japfest%2014-5-2011/japfest14052011564.jpg
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn41/thisYup/Japfest%2014-5-2011/japfest14052011565.jpg
but there were a few left over…..
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn41/thisYup/Japfest%2014-5-2011/japfest14052011566.jpg
so to avoid disappointment/blood-shed a meeting of minds was called…..
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn41/thisYup/Japfest%2014-5-2011/japfest14052011567.jpg

and soon with a total rearrangement, crescents, curves and symmetrical arrangements were devised, mainly based upon as many people as possible trying to drive over the ‘center marker’ jumper…. This was soon reclaimed
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn41/thisYup/Japfest%2014-5-2011/japfest14052011569.jpg
anyway…. Another quick meeting, more arrangements and with a bit of a dance (‘stop right there’, spice girls!) to ease the tension...........
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn41/thisYup/Japfest%2014-5-2011/japfest14052011568.jpg
and it all began to take shape around the pearl white beauty

Great effort by all, especially getting the Type R wings nicely to one side too
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn41/thisYup/Japfest%2014-5-2011/japfest14052011574.jpg
then off to the show and the girlfriends camp…
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn41/thisYup/Japfest%2014-5-2011/japfest14052011576.jpg
talk about one extreme to another!
Bounce between the 2 sites all day, it certainly made the time fly by, til once again it was time to leave… once again the last to leave ( at least this time only just the last!!!)

Great set of explanations with your photos!! I really liked the first few...it makes me feel i missed out in not coming early and providing another black nsx....it would of then been the three muskateers and dogtanian!

Great photos, good to see such a large turn out!
Blimey though, those panel gaps don't look good on that R replica when sitting next to a 'proper' facelift. A mate of mine was telling me how she was calling it a Type R on another forum...lol. Shame, with a bit of attention to detail it would look fantastic.
Turbo is very interesting! Any more info?

Evidence of James's precision parking skills:
http://i768.photobucket.com/albums/xx325/agilandscapes/012-2.jpg
And rescuing his essential measuring tool (his jumper)
http://i768.photobucket.com/albums/xx325/agilandscapes/011-2.jpg
However no matter hard you try there is always one who can't take direction (and by the way it was Ian who was parking the car up before anyone says "typical women drivers")

Found this on another forum. Though it was a pretty good write up. Not sure how I feel about being called middle aged though:-0

Sorry a bit late here, but its great to see so many cars together & it was a sunny day too.
Had two weddings in two weekends! My best friend put a stop to me attending this years
event, so I should be there next time!
