What is this in the boot?

Just daydreaming and looking at various adverts for NSX in Japan when I stumbled across this (http://www.carsensor.net/usedcar/detail/CU0392441434/index.html?TRCD=200002) (picture 9 of 20). It is from a 2005 auto. Does anyone know why there is a hump in the boot carpet on the drivers side? This (http://www.carsensor.net/usedcar/detail/CU0003558133/index.html?TRCD=200002) similar age car - see picture 9 (a manual) does not have the hump (so to speak).

Any ideas?

I'd guess its dvd drive for the navigation system given the nav-pod on the dash ;)
