I thought it might be fun to have "guess Marks new motah" competition. Don't worry the NSX isn't going anywhere.
I'll start with a few tougher clues...
Over 10years old...
Made by a major manufacturer...
Not a Honda
At launch it was hailed as one of the best handling small fwd cars ever...
More clues to follow if no one guesses correctly
Cheers

MArk says its not French or German so that leaves the Lotus .... apart from the small point of them not being American .... so you have won a prize .... a visit to the optician's

The Lotus has also been guessed, and rejected. He said it has a fixed roof.
The optician might be a busy chap... :)

Racing Puma?
We have a winner :)
#31 of 500 is mine. It's a real firecracker, not that quick but amazingly nimble, grippy and the brakes are unbelievable (good). Here's a couple of pics, and yes the white wheels must go very soon...

Tink you'll enjoy it Mark. I was almost in possesion of one a few years ago from a work-mate. In the end his heart ruled his head and he kept a hold of it at the 11'th hour. From what I understand a few spare can be a bit tricky to get nowadays.... They do stick to the road like flies on s**t...ya little chav, yea :-)

I thought about a DC2 and also a Clio 182 Trophy but I love the looks of the Racing Puma, FRP to those in the know  , and I think it's a bit more exclusive. It's got a full Pumabuild stainless steel manifold and exhaust system and makes a great noise, for a 4 pot
The car has lived in Cheshire for the last few years but of course their spiritual home is Essex.

Hi Mark
I've always wanted one of these as I was not impressed by the standard car but the FRP sounded (on paper) so much better plus I love the looks.
You, Noel and I should get together in our four pots across some good b roads, could be of bit of fun.

Yes that would be a laugh, I'd be seriously out gunned though.
Ford might have been in its chassis "pomp" at the time, building on the original Focus and standard Puma, but it doesn't quite have enough power to take on more modern fast hatches, especially the ones that ride and handle properly like your two :)
