Hello from Glasgow newboy

Hello peeps have just bought jasons White na1 as seen in classifieds so saying hello:)

Will be signing up for full membership soon as this site has been a lot of help already convincing me to take the plunge into super car ownership.

This is my fourth Honda to date (and surely the best) previously owned
93' legend coupe
Boring accord
89' prelude 2.0i 4ws
95' nsx na1 3.0 v6 auto:):):):

Looking for advice already lol Any advice much appreciated
Could do with rear tyres soon running 265/35/18 rear 225/35/17 front
Are these suitable sizes for my car and if so what's the best tyres to buy? Oh and tyre pressure anyone?

One more thing would like to have the car looked over properly ie health check I'm in Glasgow any owners up here know any good specialists

Congratulations Hondaboy.......great feeling when you first drive it. This may have been the same car I looked at. White auto with aftermarket wheels and white front lower spoiler. Nice car drove well. I was looking for manual Silver/Yellow or Red Targa . Found a lovely silver targa, nice condition.

Tyre pressures look on the drivers doorjamb there is a label.

Only if you run OEM size wheels.......not on 17/18 rims.

Generally 32-34 PSI should be fine.

I think there was a Honda dealer in Paisley I think that used to sell NSX, not sure of the name?

Yep Phoenix Honda are only nsx authorised in Scotland thinkin of putting it into them for a good check over to let me know what faults it has if any

Yes I'm enjoying it plenty already think I've done about 300 miles so far in 1st week every one a pleasure

Well Honda have given the car a full check over and I'm pleased with the outcome needed two rear tyres which I knew so Honda fitted new eagle f1s on the back, balanced the fronts and I got them to check the alignment at the same time.
only other problem is slight oil leaks from oil filter, sump gasket and both rocker cover gaskets have booked it in to get done at a cost of £250 including oil,filter,all three gaskets and labour not bad me thinks.
Need pair of engine hatch dampers though might try vtec direct as I saw they were offering these a while ago.

BTW if you don't mind me asking, how much was the check over by Honda? How many hours did they spend? I'm still in the ohmygod-what's-that-noise new owner phase with my car.

£250 is a really good price. I'm sure I was quoted More than £80 for a pair of rocker cover gaskets on their own.

Hi thanks for the info have contacted sgs and I'm sending my struts to attempt regassing if successful it's £47 a pair including post

The check from Honda took 3 hours and was laughably cheap at £39 which is special offer holiday check price which normally takes 1 hour, think they were trying to sweeten me with this price in the hope of getting my custom which to a point they are :):):)
