Mismatched tyre tread front/rear

I have Toyo Proxy T1R all round. However the rears need replacement and as luck would have it Toyo have decided to cease production of the T1R in 245/40 and replace with T1Sport. The tread pattern of the Sport is nothing like the T1R. What are the views on having different tread patterns front to rear. Advice eagerly sought!

The original tyres always had a mismatch front to rear, it should be ok.
