View Full Version : Car security, trackers etc

I recently had a set of keys stolen from my house. So far not the car. I'm changing the locks and immobiliser, and have taken steps to immobilise it in the meantime. And it does live in a reasonably secure garage. But this has set me thinking about whether I should do more. I'm interested in opinions and experiences ... trackers, alarms...?
I searched the forum and it looks like it's a while since this topic was discussed.
Thanks in advance

Hi Peter
Sorry to here about this, we had our old house broken into for the keys to my truck, they also took my other car keys so I had to get them all changed as well. (This was before I had the NSX).
I think the best you can do is have a tracker fitted.

Sorry to hear of the bad news. Like Paul says, a tracker is the best option
and some insurers prefer them and it can reduce your premiums too.

Likewise.
Maybe security cameras?
