Guys,

New government plans are to increase ethanol content in regular unleaded from 5% to 10%. It comments that pre 1993 cars will be unable to run on this new mix and will have to use premium.

What does this mean for those that use regular?*

Easy answer is don't risk it but if anyone knows and we shouldn't use it then we should highly publicise on the forum... In essence all nsxs have an engine that pre-dates '93.

In January 2011 a nationwide rollout of E10 began in Germany. One month before that Honda Germany officially stated that all fuel injected cars Honda ever built are compatible with E10. According to them, carbureted cars Honda produced before 1996 are not compatible.

The original press release can be found here: http://www.honda.de/news/carnews_70613.php

A list of which Honda cars are and which are not compatible with E10 can be found here: http://www.honda.de/pdf/E10_Typen-Liste_Automobile.pdf.

PS: if you have trouble reading the documents - blame the Americans
