RHD NSX sub enclosure

Nobody currently makes a RHD NSX sub box enclosure for an aftermarket system and I want one, I know others have also enquired stateside to try and get one built but without a template it's a no go.

I've contacted ZeToolMan on Prime (he makes a well regarded LHD box) to see if he could fabricate something if I send a box over. I can get a box shipped over from Dirk for 200Euros.

Please can you register your interest as it will be much more likely to come off if we can to a bulk box order. Cost of LHD boxes is about $200 but these may be more depending on how many people are interested and whether ZeToolMan will sort us a deal. A group buy will also save us on shipping ... who's in?

You don't need to buy the SOS adaptor, just the £4 one from the bay is fine and solder on some phono connectors.

Is this the adaptor which you suggest?

My problem is that there is an aftermarket media system in the car which plays out of aftermarket door speakers....when I put OEM door speakers on...they don't work despite wiring it into the correct plugs in the door.

The ISO lead just plugs into your OEM loom so you don't have to chop it about. You can buy ISO converters that go from the OEM loom to standard Pioneer, JVC, Alpine, etc. plugs, like above. The alternative is to chop the plugs off that are not required and wire into whatever system you have.

Obviously I have no clue what system you are running or what someone may have done to your car before...

I'm running a double DIN Pioneer system with the OE speakers, I used a 'plain' ISO lead to plug into the OEM loom and just soldered on phono plugs to the ISO lead to enable them to plug into the phono outputs from the Pioneer unit.

I agree with Simon, I would of thought this would be fairly easy. There is a audio installation company in Southampton that gets highly rated reviews on the web, which would not be to far for you to go.
