Considering putting the nsx on axle stands over winter to protect tyres from flat spots carry out some cleaning and maintenance just checking it's safe to leave the car on stands for a few months and won't damage or strain anything by having the suspension hanging down for so long.

Probably a stupid question but any comments,advice much appreciated

Think of it as a push-pull situation....I'd say there are lot more forces going through the car being driven or static on the ground than when propped up on stands..
