Hi,

I'm looking to buy an NSX and if at all possible would prefer to get a "known" car previously owned by one of you guys (NSXCB members).

I am fairly flexible with regard to spec but below I will list the essentials and if anyone is selling something that fits the bill please let me know. I have cash waiting so you can save yourself the tyre kickers and test pilots!

- Must be a manual
- Must have full history
- Must NOT be Cat C/Cat D etc
- Any colour considered
- Tasteful mods or unmodified both fine
- Mileage, preferably under 100k but will buy on condition over milage
- Must NOT be targa...too tall for them!
- 3.0 or 3.2 but pre facelift (just prefer pop ups)

I think that covers it and I look forward to hearing from someone out there!

How tall are you? I'm 6'4" and have a targa - It was too tight initially but I made a custom seat cushion that bought me 2-3" of extra headroom which made all the difference.

Just something to consider before you pass up a nice targa :)

Edit: here's a link to what I did:

I'm just over 6'6" so would be extra tight. Just thought it may be better in the long run to rule one out? Had a read through your thread about it, very interesting. I see you are in Bristol (I'm Cheltenham). If it would be possible at some point in the new year for me to come and have a look how that seat mod changes things let me know.

Hmm maybe it would be too tight then, although it obviously depends on proportions. You'd be welcome to come down and have a sit in mine to try it. It saves most of the thickness of the OEM cushion which is quite a lot - I reckon my backside is only about half an inch above the carpet.

Is there any more room in a coupe? Not sure... :dunno:
