The LE MANS CLASSIC opens it's doors 6th, 7th and 8th July 2012. Details here: http://www.lemansclassic.com/en/s01_home/s01p01_home.php
From what I can gather, there's been interest from a few but no action so here we go:
Clubs need at least 10 cars (the deadline for enrollment is 31st January) so looks like this won't happen unless we're very quick!
Alternatively you can enroll your car individually (NSX's appear on their handpicked list) just click on the "clubs" tab then the "private owners" link. Deadline is 15th May but the sooner you book, the better the chance of being accepted. You need to send the application form with a photo of your car and copy of your logbook, then you'll be able to park in an enclosure within the track (it'll save you walking kms). You can also book track laps along with other clubs for the Saturday (again, be quick).
I've been to the last 3 events with a bunch of friends.....great fun although the catering leaves something to be desired (one company appears to have the monopoly so all food stands are the same.......but hey, this is France!)
