NSX wake up

I woke the NSX up today, she's out and ready for the summer.

If you use little over the winter t would be good to know when you wake your baby up and to post a nice spring sunny picture. I'm out for a nice drive later, for now here's a quick snap from my phone...

Also interested to know how many people now use their NSX all year round and how many keep for occasional use mainly during summer months... hopefully the poll works. I always used to use mine as a daily driver but since getting the new one am a lot more precious and potentially concerned about residuals.

Never really put mine to bed, its always fuelled and charged up ready for action ... got the winter wheels/tyres on as you can see in the photo from a couple of weeks ago ...

You need to add an option to your Poll ... "not a daily or a garage Queen, but a regular user"

Yours looks well with the rear spoiler, just need the seats ... thought you might have bought the ebay ones the other week ...

not a daily user (Civic and MX5 for that) lives in the garage but comes out to play on a regular basis.

Yeah the poll just lists 2 extremes.

Mine gets cold and no use at the moment. Well I did drive it last night in the heavy fog to give it a blast. Once the clutch is in it'll get more use but never daily use.

Goes out when the weather is reasonable, likes the inside life when it's cold. Therefore not a daily drive. Tiguan and Z4 are daily drives. Mine you... it has been out 4 times this year.

use my car regularly ... never bought to be a garage queen ... its a DRIVER's car so want to enjoy it as much as possible

but she does go to bed in winter :)

Paul- I have recaros already, strapped for cash at the moment or I would have looked at the leather ones... What did they go for and why didn't you buy them?

I love the sound with the decat but need to remove for my neighbours, think I'll use it more then! I urge all garage queens to get out for a blast ASAP, you quickly forget what a great car it is and I loved taking mine out last night! Lost out just to a B6 RS4 tuned to 420bhp... My excuse is I was carrying daddy detune of an extra 120kg compared to the RS, must make a huge difference!

I can't believe I've never noticed this but does vtec kick in earlier in higher gears? Only a few hundred rpm but I'm sure it was coming in earlier!

Can't make Japfest this year, will try for Silverstone. Maybe someone can take it for me?

hmmm... 11,000 miles in almost 5 years of ownership. Plenty of memories, but with those figures doesn't sound like I've used it enough..

it's currently sitting in a garage with a trickle charger on it. Coming back to UK in 6 weeks so will take it out for a wash then. :rolleyes:

in retrospect, probably should have sorn it and taken it off insurance last October!
