NSX Headers best fit and value for money

Hi All need some advice on NSX Headers, as below:

1/ Which make are the best fit and value for money, found some on ebay from Topspeed and also OBX

2/ Would it be better to fit the 3.2 later style without the flexi coupling to my 1996 (3 bolt flange car) ?

3/ I intend to still have cats fitted would this make fitting headers a waste of time?

The headers give the biggest gain for a 3.0 NSX. It is preferable to keep the cats, as the gain is minimal.

Main expense is labour and O2 sensors plus the ancillary bits.

just got manifolds installed on my car.

went for dc sports and got from daliracing. he includes the adapter pipes as part of the inclusive price etc. i asked him to order all the other bits, brackets, gaskets, nuts and bolts etc.

as Ary says main costs is labour (apart from manifolds) etc albeit not too bad. chances are u will lose an o2 sensor in the process but generic ones can be got at reasonable cost

buy a set u wont regret it ... car revs freely and appears to be more torquey

i've got topspeed headers on mine, and been on for 5 years with no problems (touch wood!!!) cannot be beaten for value for money

Thanks for the feedback guys, would you go for the headers with flexi joint that don't require the adapters or the solid 3.2 type?

Are there any issues with the topspeed flexi type long term?

No long term issues reported for the flexi joint. The OEM headers have a similar joint, just covered in a mesh.

I would get taitec or similar with the ball type joint, saying that you could always get the flexi replaced.
