Based on the green/white powder like debris, I'm now 100% convinced that the coolant was leaking from this fitting. The photo was taken after I cleaned it but there were markings on the side of the blower motor fan case as well as on the battery top surface. Not sure how it can happen as the coolant hose was not replaced in the past so possibly ...
Nothing new or special here. Just remove the old coolant hoses and replace them with the new ones. Even for this low mileage, fairly late model NSX, the corrosion at the cooing sys pipes already started so it was a very good decision to carry out the cooling sys refresh this time. Saves the time and cost for the owner. ...
Removed the audio head unit and found this. It's some sort of noise filter on the power line. Unfortunately, it won't do much as I don't think the noise is getting through the power line. It's more specific to a certain FM frequency (around BBC Radio 2) and fine for CD mode and other radio frequencies. More like another device causing interference ...
It was not fun removing the seized washer motor without removing other parts. Very little space and not easy to remove it as you don't want to crack the washer tank.... Also, even after sucking out more than 2L of washer fluid, there were still lots of it left inside the tank..... I hate any garages with dirty and wet floor.... ...
As seen on many NSX, the oil seepage from the front valve cover was making the area behind the crank pulley very dirty.... The low eng oil pressure warning sensor was already rusty.... ...
