  1. Health Check, Annual Service 01

    by , 14-08-2013 at 10:16 PM (Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer)

    Finished the Health Check.

Being as close to the final production year model and
regular maintenance carried out, there were not many items
for the high priority list compared to other NSX.

Some of the points from the check list.....

    Wiper blade
Driver side from lot #Mar/08 and the passenger one from
    lot #Nov/09.
While they still operated fine, time to replace them.

  2. Oil Cooler 01

Started to work on another NSX.

The service menu is to carry out the Health Check combining
the extra bits to replace the Annual Service,
CL Hyd system refurbishment and blocked drainage around
    the rear tail light section.

So, initially, I allocated just 1 week for the service.

On arrival, I noticed oil film at the right side of the
    rear bumper skirt.

  3. Final Touch

Went out for the final test driving session.

Activated the ABS in order to adjust the fluid level.
Again, noticed that the ABS pump would kick in just after
once or twice the ABS was activated.

The accumulator is indeed loosing its high pressure capacity.

Driving the car without the A/C in this warm condition is not nice.....

Once again, really nice feedback from the new coilover kit.

    The engine hatch opener lever.
Quite often, this is damaged due to extra force applied/required
    when opening the hatch.
This one was rounded around the shaft holder and almost impossible
    to open the hatch.
Replace it with the new one next time.

For the installation of the BC coilover kit,
had to remove the rubber seal under the bonnet.
As expected, the clips were all dead.
    Replaced all of them.
