    Not much to report while replacing all of the coolant hoses.
    So many hoses are involved and time consuming task….




    Drained the coolant from the front and the rear engine block.

    In order to access the thermostat area, the air box has to be removed.
    When I looked at the air filter from the opening of the box, it didn’t look nice so decided to remove the cover and found this.


    This air filter didn’t look like it was replaced at the specified service interval.

  3. Crank Pulley 02

    Couldn't work on this NSX at all yesterday so doing bit of a catch up today.


    Honda Parts Japan has confirmed that all of the extra ordered parts are in stock and will be shipped out early next week so decided to go ahead with all of the service menus for the owner.


    Looks like these ACG and A/C belts were not replaced ...

    The owner wanted to replace his pulley as a precaution as it was never replaced in the past.


    Nothing goes smoothly when the classic car was handled without careful touch in the past…..


    The A/C belt tensioner was over torqued and completely seized.
    From the marking on the parts and small chip on the idler pulley itself, it seemed that someone already tried to do something about it.
