  1. Eng Refresh Stage 1 + LMA (SoS) – 20

    As reported earlier, there was no gasket used at the
    connection points between the test pipe and back box
    resulting in exhaust gas leakage.

    Also, there was trace of carbon at the donut gasket at
    the swivel joint of the header suggesting that it was leaking
    from both the front and rear joints although
    I couldn’t feel it at the idle rpm.

    Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor.
    Covered in oil with lots of black debris.

    Preparation for the compression check
    before start of the Engine Refresh.


    So much debris even under the IG coil cover so
    had to blow them away before removing the IG coils.








    Surprised that these spark plugs were not
    replaced until now.

  4. Eng Refresh Stage 1 – 01 Preparation

    Started to work on another NSX.


    The service menu is to carry out the Eng Refresh to
    replace the TB/WP/etc and also install aftermarket
    header at the same time.








    The owner had to drive through the salty gritting road

  5. Final Touch 01

    The standard Health Check service doesn’t include the removal of
    parts for the inspection so the Eng compression check was
    not planned initially.

    I’m glad he requested this because I found several issues
    that couldn’t be found without removing the parts.
