    While carrying out the Eng Refresh, another owner sent in his CCU board
    for the repair.

    He told me that he no longer could get any power at the display and
    simply it was dead.

    Received the board and on initial inspection, I already knew that
    it would be a big task repairing this board.

    Time to check the repaired CCU board using my own NSX.




    There are lots of scenario testing to go through and one of them
    is the CCU Function & Operation checks.
    You will need to use your face, hand, leg and eye to check the
    actual air flow as well as the vent mode.

    Started the re-building process.




    Strengthened the corroded tracks with soldering bridge and
    used several hard wires to re-create the dissolved patch.

    As expected, DM10 and 11 had to be removed in order to check the
    nearby tracks and clean the area.

    These old components have to be carefully removed without breaking them
    as they are no longer manufactured.
    They are not RoHs compliant.

    While carrying out the Eng Refresh, another owner sent in his A/C CCU board
    for preventative maintenance.

    He wanted to clean his cabin temperature sensor due to lots of dust
    trapped at the aspirator fan (and possibly making annoying noise) and
    although he was not experiencing noticeable issues with his A/C system,
    he thought it would be a good idea to have the CCU serviced while
    the centre console was off.
