    The corrosion protection oil is just everywhere inside the engine bay.

    It’s bit annoying because every time when I remove the bolts, nuts or
    any parts, I have to first wipe off the excess oil from them and then
    wipe off my hands before moving onto the next parts otherwise
    it will not only attract further dust

    Had to shut down myself for a while as I was not well and
    slept continuously almost 12hours.....
    I should have known better by now......
    Counterproductive when keep working continuously for many weeks......

    Although I managed to push back all pistons at the front calipers,
    the movement was not consistent.

    And as expected, there is no way I can re-use them……


    None of the caliper slider pins were seized so it looked like someone serviced them in
    the past but not quite.

  4. Compression Check

    During the annual service, I always recommend the owners to carry out the
    engine compression check to keep eye on the condition of the engine.


    I carried out Engine Refresh on this engine about 2 years ago and
    at that time, I was really pleased to see the identical compression
    result across the cylinders after the service.


    Interesting to see the condition of this engine after 2 years.

  5. Compression Check

    As I have never worked on this NSX,
    included the compression check as a part of the service menu.

    I’m too scared to deal with the spark plugs while the engine is hot and
    also I have no idea on what was done to them in the past so I always
    remove them while the engine is cold.

    Then, re-install them to warm up the engine in preparation for the compression check.

    Once warmed up, I have to remove the spark plugs again
