    Another complete CCU was hand carried to my place for the refurbishment.
    The owner didn’t feel any issues so just a preventative measure.

    While the owner was at my place, opened up the CCU and showed the extent of the damages on the board.
    Quite often, the owners were surprised seeing the status of their boards especially, if they were not experiencing any issues at all.

  3. ABS Check

    Quite often, the later spec one body ABS modulator is on back order and Honda Japan increases the parts price on 01/Jan and 01/Jul every year so I was hoping to receive another new modulator that I placed the order a while ago before 01/Jan.

    Finally, it has arrived so time to do a quick check using my NSX.
    Even for a new modulator, there were several reports of initial failure so this is a Must procedure as soon as I receive any new modulators from Japan.

  4. Eunos Roadster (Mazda MX-5, Miata) Camshaft Angle Sensor – CAS 01

    Started to work on another NSX from last week and I thought it would be an easy task as I serviced this NSX a few years ago and knew the condition.

    However, as soon as I tried to move the car to place it on the lift, I smelt the coolant so it was leaking from somewhere.
    Already I'm about 2 months behind the schedule and once again, the joy of dealing with the classic car.
