    While working on the NSX for the Engine Refresh Service,
    I was working on this CCU board that was sent through the post.


    The owner of the NSX that is at my place at the moment also
    wants to have his CCU serviced.

    It makes sense to work on both of them at the same time as

  2. Eng Refresh Stage 1 – 01

    The corrosion protection oil is just everywhere inside the engine bay.

    It’s bit annoying because every time when I remove the bolts, nuts or
    any parts, I have to first wipe off the excess oil from them and then
    wipe off my hands before moving onto the next parts otherwise
    it will not only attract further dust

    Even at this super low mileage, the internal grease of the drive shaft was
    already broken down and probably like a ‘melted coffee ice cream’ by now.

    The inboard joint at both R & L drive shaft were just starting to leak but
    not splashed yet.

    They were also making ‘crunk crunk’ noise when I checked

    Started to work on another NSX from today.

    The service menu is to carry out the Engine Refresh Stage 1,
    Health Check to replace its annual service, refresh Cooling system,
    CCU, etc.

    As I have never worked on this NSX,
    decided to start with the Health Check service.
