    While working on the Door Glass Refresh, I was servicing the door AMP for another owner.

    He told me that after about 5 – 20min using the audio system, it will start making loud popping noise.
    Typical capacitor leakage so thought it’s going to be an easy fix.

    In the process of cleaning my spare Rear AMP board. Removed all of the old hot melting glue and cleaned the surface as much as possible.

    Wanted to finish refurbishing the Bose AMP for the owner outside of UK by the Bank holiday weekend but unfortunately, with severe damages to one of the circuit board, several delays on NSX servicing and another project with irregular time table for the weekend resulted in limited time working on the boards as well as extra time

    Quite often, I receive requests and questions from not only the NSX owners but also from Honda dealers, tuning places, etc including the ones outside of UK.
    Nice to be recognised.




    While carrying out the Eng Refresh, being requested to service 3 x Bose AMP from one company.

  5. Drive Shaft, Brake OH, etc 02

    In the mean time, I opened the audio head unit and found this.

    Severe acid leakage from the capacitors and some of the tracks were just keeping the continuity with hair line width of remainging track.
    No wonder why there were signal issues such as imbalance between R and L channels.
