    So, started to wash the engine.
    It is so important to wash the debris off as much as possible before opening the
    engine to prevent anything from falling inside.



    Probably the same on your engine.
    Lots and lots of leaves around the INJ and V-bank area.

    While the parking brake cable joint started to move after soaking it with the
    penetrating oil over night, the linkage pin just didn’t want to come out so had
    to use different method to push it out.

    Finally, managed to disconnect the parking brake cable from the calliper and
    I have now committed to taking the engine out so no way back.

    Still removing lots and lots of parts.




    So far, everything was going well but today, encountered with the first challenge
    of the service.

    The seized parking brake cable pin at the rear left calliper.

    No wonder why there was some imbalance during the last health check service.

    Carried out the compression check to understand the current condition of the
    engine before my TB/WP/Valve Clearance service.

    As same for everyone who took my services, the complete data will be only
    informed to the owner and I’ll only show the LSB here.

    Preparing for the compression check.

    As always, I don’t want to touch the spark plug after the engine was warmed up
    without knowing the state of them so I normally remove and clean them first
    when they were cold.
