  1. Alignment 01

    Before visiting the alignment platform, checked the rideheight, tyre pressure and etc.


    By now, all of the suspension bolts and adjusters were greased and checked.


    As reported earlier, both R & L Caster adjusters were seized but it is more important to match the wheel base length between R & L.


    Based on the tyre choice, state of suspension, owners driving style, current chassis conditions and etc, ...

  2. It would be nice …

    I was told by the alignment place that a while ago, another owner visited them for the NSX alignment service.



    At the time of the payment, the owner asked for the discount because Kaz (I) uses them.

    I didn’t even know that this owner was visiting this place.




    They were bit annoyed by this because they had to spend longer time with this owner than me due to the lack of preparation work ...
  3. Type-S Door Emblem

    For many years, people changed the original front, rear or door emblem to something different to make some changes.


    For the door emblem, it seems that ‘NSX-R’ one is the first choice for a quick modification.

    Personally, I don’t like to show the text of ‘NSX-R’ when it is not actually the Type-R model so stayed with ‘NSX’ logo but went for the one for the Type-S. ...

  4. Test driving session, ABS, interior noise

    As the road surface was damp but no water paddle, it was good for the ABS test with stuck closed solenoids.


    Set the A/C at 32degC to make sure to push out any bubbles left inside the heater core after the TB/WP service and went out for the test driving session.


    Before going out on the main road, activated the ABS many times while the tyre was still cold.


    Sometimes, I got the kick back but as three ...

  5. A/C Evaporator 02

    There are several aftermarket A/C filter available from some of the NSX specialists.

    I normally just create DIY air filter using the cooker hood filter.


    It won’t prevent the pollen, fume or dust from entering the cabin but good enough to stop the leaves and large items passed through the meshed air scoop.



    Before starting this process, it is always a good idea to keep some spare clips ...
