  1. Air Con CCU Board Service 01

    Another owner contacted me to have his A/C CCU board serviced.


    He was suffering from several issues such as;


    • only blows air at max fan speed
    • nothing shows up on the display
    • can’t change the mode from DEF to others
    • not sure the A/C compressor clutch is controlled or not because the compressor was disabled in the past


    After receiving the board, I carried out the initial inspection and I’m afraid, I have no confidence ...

  2. Test Driving Session, Reset ECU

    Adjusted the tyre pressure to 33/40psi at 5degC before going out for the test driving session.


    Please adjust this later depending on your preference and driving/environment conditions.


    The rear wheel nuts were torqued at 108Nm.


    Please re-torque them once you got back to your place due to alloy wheel characteristic.


    Went out for test driving session, activated the ABS many times while the tyre was still ...

  3. TH Butterfly Cleaning, TH Cable

    While the engine was cold, sprayed the cab/injector cleaner several times inside the intake manifold, idle air port, TH butterfly, PCV and wiped the TH body internal wall.

    As seen on other NSX, it was quite dirty with blowby gas.


    Started the engine and sprayed the cleaner many times into the idle air port, Intake manifold and PCV.

    As soon as I started the service, I knew there was something wrong with the system.


    I had to close the bleeder four times before I could release the high pressure fluid from the accumulator because there was excessive air in the system.


    While I was pressurising the system in order to flush the accumulator, already there was some fluid coming out of the return port.

    While letting the excess MTF to drain out, installed the Right shaft.


    Applied silicone grease to the body of suspension bolts and torqued them under 1G condition.

    Staked the spindle nut to lock it.



    Just need to finish the ABS flushing and TH Butterfly service tomorrow.
