While waiting for the liquid gasket to cure, worked on the CAT heatshield for the noise issue. It would have been easier if I just trimmed the small portion of the horizontal metal bar at the aftermarket diffuser to widen the gap in order to prevent the CAT from scratching against it. Unless you take the engine out and set the engine/cylinder block upside down, you only have very short time to keep the oil pan mating surface oil free after wiping it down with the brake cleaner.
