    Holders and clips installed, pipes in position but fittings are not torqued yet until all connections are made to fix the final position of each pipes to prevent them from twisting.

    ABS modulator bracket installed and torqued.


    Modulator briefly installed for positioning of pipes.

  2. ABS Upgrade 04 – Spaghetti juggling Part A

    After removing most of the brake pipes under the bonnet, it’s time for the spaghetti juggling again.


    You will need to install 8 new brake pipes.

    You may need extra time if you have never done this before.

    Once the old pipes are removed, it’s good time to clean the area as you won’t get so many opportunities to clean these areas.

    Sealed the brake master cyl ports as it is time consuming task to get rid of tiny bubbles from the cyl without taking it off the car and bench bleeding it first.


    Original ABS removed. Heavy and quite big.

    Without the ABS, it’s quite roomy down there.

    Before removing the blower fan, I had to remove the drain pipe attached nearby and it was full of leaves, debris, etc.


    Also, the cabin air temperature was full of unpleasant dust so I was expecting more or less some dirty condition at the A/C evaporator.


    But, it was beyond my expectation and it looked like this.....

  5. ABS Upgrade 01 - A/C Blower motor

    Had to focus on other projects recently so couldn’t spend much time on this NSX but I’m back now.

    But, first thing first, I wanted to wash my NSX because of the recent snowy weather and so much gritting on the road that it looked like white/grey car than a red one.

    Once all the salt were washed away from the suspension and under body area, I’m happy for the time being until I repeat the process again next weekend.
