May be the snow & weather is a factor & people waiting until Spring?
My friend offered £60,000 for the car and it was refused. So I guess he is holding out for £65,000 or doesn't need to sell it now. My car is not going anywhere! It has been in the showroom at Honda Chiswick for the last few months. They are delivering it back to me this week, so if anyone fancies an NSX meet on Sunday let me know. I'm in NW London but happy to travel 30 mins or so.
Glad to hear it Mark, you have a stunning example!
I think that's got a lot to do with it. Many people hibernate over the winter then start looking around March.
Nice to see the silverstone car getting such strong a offer though. Certainly it's a reinforcement of the growing popularity of these cars and a vee to all the blinkered P & F car enthusiasts! In context, it means they are now making the same or more than; 355's, 993's, 996 GT3's, 360's, etc. got to be a well deserved kick in the teeth for someone;-)
Cheers.
As Clarkson, May and Hammond said on Sundays Top Gear, Classics are going through the roof at the moment, but it's not just your established classics like E Types and MGB's but Mk1 and 2 Golf GTi's, Peugeot 205 GTi's, Ford Cosworths etc, and I would say the NSX is becoming or is a classic now, but we have discussed this before.
Do I wish I had kept my 4 speed Mk1 Golf GTi 1.6 (ex Nigel Mansell), Mk 2 Escort, 205 GTi 1.6, Austin Healey Sprite.
[embarrassing revelation] Even my 2CV Spot [/embarrassing revelation]. I mean, look at the price of it! http://www.the2cvshop.co.uk/spot_sales.html
That 2CV is excellent!
I also regret selling mine ( a more mundane red example). it was great fun to drive and taught me more about preserving momentum than any other car I have owned.
