Light coverage of snow but not too bad.
Took NSX out visiting nearby.
Some area had much more and hope everyone keeping warm.

1. Forum software upgrade
Must sort out 2 subjects at the highest priority within this year so I’m afraid the support on the forum platform upgrade from my end must slow down.

It's Visa and certain project related.
Already had to postpone my boss’s travel plan.

Administrators have been informed.
Will still keep monitoring the state of the server and keep rebooting when necessary.
Will support the upgrade once other matters sorted.

2. Blog section
Based on the recent test, for now, I’ll limit the access to my blog page to small number of users and not for the guests.
Really not ideal as already posted so many links to my blog in other threads on here as well as other website such as NSX Prime, FB, etc.

However, not allowing the bots searching my blog seems like helping the guest visitors to below 500 at any one point.
Still, if someone posts a link to the forum address (nsxcb.co.uk) somewhere on the web, it triggers the surge in bots behaviour.
Nothing wrong with it though.

Just few days ago, someone posted a link to the Forum in FB NSX Prime group (haven't visited there for ages now....) and that triggered the surge resulting in extra re-boot frequencies.
Though, far better than the past.
Used to re-boot so many times within 24Hrs.

3. Blog access
For now, whenever I post something in the Blog section, I’ll post notification here.
If of any interest, please let me know your userID through email at kaznsxcb-002 ‘at’ yahoo ‘dot’ co ‘dot’ jp (one word, please note the domain ending as JP and not UK).

I don’t use PM so email only please.
I’ll start with very limited number of users to see the effect on the server.

Already added some users to the list and if you can't see the blog after logging in, you only need contacting me once.
Once your userID is included in the list, you can browse my blog including any future entries.
One must be logged in as that’s the whole point of not allowing bots access.

4. Gauge Cluster service
Had to focus on electronics service until last week due to biometrics requirement for the eVisa.
Even a tiny cut on the fingertip was not accepted.
Back to mechanical service mode now but really struggling with one of the gauge cluster that was serviced by someone previously.

Unfortunately, the new circuit board is either discontinued or on years long of back order.
And the circuit board is year model and country spec dependent that not easy finding the used one.

Narrowed it down to one signal from the driver IC so I may end up replacing it.
It’s custom made for Honda so not available on the market but fortunately, used on other Honda circuit board.
May contact one owner who had used one in the past.

Already spent more than 1 month and in order to compare every single signal line, took my own gauge cluster out from the cabin and disassembled it more than 20 times
as I need driving my NSX almost every day.

Just don't want giving up after all these times being spent.

5. SRS circuit board
Helping another owner with the SRS controller.
Came from US and the metal case is for the LHD.

As expected, several capacitors are leaking and just hope it didn’t damage the nearby Tr.
Only doing this under strict T&C.
Hope I can recover it.
